Skoda India has launched Skoda New Laura in the month of June 2009 in India, the car is offered in three variants like Skoda Laura Laurin and klement, Skoda Laura Elegance and Skoda Laura Ambiente. These variants are available with a choice of three engines: 1.8-litre TSI, 1.9-litre TDI PD, and 2.0-litre TDI PD that generate 160 bhp, 105 bhp, and 140 bhp respectively.

Skoda Laura has central infotainment system. In this model 560 litres luggage compartment space, Foldable baggage hook and six load anchoring in luggage compartment, Automatic front wiper system with rain sensor, Reading spot lamps at the front and rear, bottle holders in the front doors and cup holders.

Storage compartments in the front and rear doors, on the side of the front seat, under the steering wheel , in the front and rear centre console.

Skoda Laura model has turn indicator in external mirrors, body color protective side door strips and body color bumpers, external mirrors and door handles, Skoda Laura’s model has Alloy wheels 15 inch.
